I found the most adorable princess themed Valentine cards (pictured above) at Border’s Book Store. Aren’t they sweet? They are perfect for handing out or for decorating your scrapbook with. Just looking at them makes me filled with delight as I think about Valentine’s Day drawing near.
As a dedicated hopeless romantic, Valentine’s Day has always had me all a-twitter with girlish daydreams of pink hearts floating in the air, cafes full of sweet pastries and tea, and handmade valentines carried by white doves. It’s a day when I fully embrace the idea of love in all it’s glory. For many people, I understand that it is not an easy time though. Those not in relationships often feel lonely. But I want to remind everyone that Valentine’s Day is a celebration of love and that doesn’t have to be strictly romantic in nature. It is the time to celebrate love in all forms. Love for your parents, your friends, even your pets! If you want to celebrate the day but don’t have a partner to celebrate, then why not go out for drinks with some friends? Volunteer for a day at an orphanage, soup kitchen or retirement home and be a Valentine to someone who needs an extra dose of love. Or be your own Valentine! There’s nothing wrong with indulging oneself in some chocolate, sappy movies and a bubble bath!
For me, this will be the first year that my husband and I will be spending together as a married couple, so it will be an extra special Valentine’s Day for us. We have a whole day planned out already. I will be sure to share the pictures and story of the day.
What are your plans for Valentine’s Day?

Aw! Those are too adorable! The frog prince is my favorite.
My beaux and I have decided not to celebrate this year… and it’s my first year with him. (But, I plan on dragging him all over our downtown with a camera. Then it’ll be back home and a night of scrapbooking.)
I can’t wait to see your photos.

These cards are the cutest! & I hope you and your husband have a truly wonderful Valentine’s Day.
My plans this year are hosting a Valentine’s Day dinner party. I’ve been hosting one for the past four years for my friends and I. Which means lots of decorating and baking and such. We just watch movies, play board games and overdose on sugar. It’s quite fun actually.
Hope you’re doing well! xx
