Six secret sister have I
Bright Sterope, wise Merope,
Electra full of fire and Taygete of desire
Celaeno and Alcyone skipping hand in hand
And me, lonesome Maia, silent in my wonderland
I watch you from my lost shore
Listening to your dreams and awaiting more
I do not think you see me here
For you are all in the sea out there
Drifting on the silver tide
Spreading your arms far and wide.
But still we dwell in the same starry sky
Aloft in wishes that keep us high
Our hopes shaped by the same guiding light
The one which gives us our fancy flight
Though blind my sisters may be
Sisters seven truly are we

Did you write this? It is so, so pretty and magical. Beautiful. xx

*blush* Yes, I did. Thank you. I am not much of a poet, but occasionally the muse bends down and whispers in my ear. And she won’t let me be until I have the words written down.
